At the age of 18 she came to America with her parents and settled in Jackson County, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Frederick Wicker in 1870, and came to Carnarvon, Iowa, where she lived with her husband until his death in 1899.
In 1904 she moved to Wall Lake which has been her home until her death.
Mrs. Wicker leaves to mourn her passing, one son, John, of Wall Lake, and two daughters, Clara Lange of Wall Lake and Dora Fyock of Onawa; a half sister, Mrs. Herman Baacke of Kramer, Neb., and 11 grandchildren and several great grand children.
Six Children preceded her in death. They were two daughters Effie and Delia: and four sons, Lou, Fred, Ernst and Frank."
