Margarett Lady Culpeper, Thomas Lord Fairfax, Ye to all Ye Where as Ye know Ye that we for and in consideration of the composition Ye do give and grand unto John Bush of the county of Lancaster bounded as followeth /Viz./ beginning at a marked corner white oak sapling standing in the said Bushe’s line on a point between the said Bushes and John Buckstone and on the south East side of a main branch from the white oak up the said branch, south eighty one degrees East thirty seven poles, thence North sixty nine degrees East forty two poles to a corner white oak standing in Baithotina Woods line just by the side of the said branch an thence along Wood’s line and Srephens Wells line South forty degrees West, one hundred and twenty eight poles to a corner Spanish oak standing near the head of a little branch +++++++line of marked trees, south eighty five degrees West, thence eighty eight degrees West one hundred and eighty parches to a corner Spanish oak standing near the head of a branch in a line belonging to John Bush, and his two brothers George and Abraham from the Spanish oak North East by North eighty one poles to a corner Spanish oak standing on the side of a branch, thence down the branch North thirty two poles, thence North thirty degrees West forty poles to a corner white oak standing by the side of the said branch, thence North crossing the said branch forty six poles to the white oak were it first began, is containing and being now laid out for seventy three acres Ye together Ye Rogall Mines Excepted Ye To have & to hold Ye Except before Excepted Ye Yielding and paying two shillings yearly Ye provided Ye dated the thirteenth day of January one thousand six hundred and Ninety five (six)
