This is a large cemetery in the churchyard of St. James Anglican Church, at Lower Jemseg. This is the Stone Church and the cemetery surrounding it is still in use. The stones date from about 1850 although there is one stone no longer standing that has 1810 on it. There are some unmarked graves and it is a well kept graveyard. These inscriptions were collected by D. Bremner, M. D'Aoust, E. McGowan and C. Wood, in October 1975. More stones were recorded from the photo taken ca. 2002, and a couple of records recorded in 1975 are no longer there.   ALLEN - Elizabeth Jane  1838-1927 ALLEN - George J. F.
