Old Anglican Cemetery
Robertson's Point, Cambridge Parish, Queens Co., NB
called White's Cove when founded

Photos by Betty Damery

This cemetery is located in a small grove of trees near the foundation of a small Anglican Church. It is rather overgrown and besides the stones noted below there are at least two dozen weathered fieldstones which give every indication of being grave markers. It is thought this cemetery was used from the first decade of the nineteenth century until the 1870's. Recorded by Myra B. D'Aoust and M. Dawn Bremner for the Queens County Historical Society on 2 June 1975, all annotations in blue.

Betty Damery - 2002 - I had difficulty finding this Cemetery as there are no buildings around it and no church.
There were a few stones within an iron fence but the remainder of the cemetery was quite overgrown.

In addition to the above there are a number of graves marked by small slabs of native sandstone. Some old palings are in evidence, and it would appear that some remains had been disinterred and burried elsewhere. There is in the open meadow nearby what may be the outline of the foundation of a building. Perhaps in the early days a small church stood on this spot. These notes were made on Wed., 12 Sept 1934. For further information see Mr. Jefferson Dykeman, near Upper Jemseg, P.O. address: Young's Cove Road, Queens County, NB.
