Corcoran Farm Grave Yard
Cambridge Narrows, Johnston Parish, Queens Co., NB

This cemetery is on land originally granted to James Pearson as Lot No. 19.  There is only part of one headstone left. There is room and indications that quite a number of graves existed. It is thought that many were COX's, as one Marcus Cox (1814 - 1890) came into possession of the property early in the 1800's, and had a Staging Inn on the shore and built a new house, and moved into it in 1846. (The present house.)  This property was in possession of the Cox family until the early 1900's.  It would seem that the graves would be Cox's. See separate map section. Drawn and measured by Fred L. Corcoran, for the Queens County Historical Society.

The headstone is broken and only the base part remains. It is of white marble.
