Hammtown, Johnston Parish, Queens Co., NB
This sketch and report was made by Fred L. Corcoran, guided and assisted by Ralph M. Corcoran, for the Queens County Historical Society - 1975. This cemetery is on land originally granted to James Easting, and known as Lot No.10. It is difficult to find, as it is in heavy timber-land, and there is no road leading to it. It is near the line of what if known as the eastern half of Lot No. 10. It is about a mile back in the woods from the road between Cody's and The Narrows. The markers are in among large trees. There was a page-wire fence enclosing it but it has been trampled and just this summer one of the white marble stones has been broken in two by vandals.
