Hetherington (Private) Cemetery
Washademoak Lake, Johnston Parish, Queens Co., NB

This cemetery is on land originally granted to Henry Dusenbury, and known as Lot No.4. It is near the shore of the Washademoak Lake where the Central Railway came across the Lake. It is not an attractive site, the fields around it are badly eroded, or else the sand hauled away. There is a partial fence around it and little care taken. It is a relatively new cemetery as there is no marker older than 1909. There are a number of unmarked graves, but appear to be recent.
Drawn and recorded by Fred L. Corcoran, assisted by Mr. George West, for the Queens County Historical Society. - Nov 1975.
