Vol 8, 1951-53, p. 231                                                                                                        “Deaths in the Skippack Region”                                                                                                No. 100  “Heinrich Graff” died Jan. 6, 1815. Born Feb. 25, 1759, son of the prioneer Jacob Groff of Upper Salford and brother of No. 264. He operated an oil and saw mill on the North Branch of the Perkiomen. Married May 11, 1780 Charlotte Schwartz (No. 151). Buried Goshenhoppen Union Cemetery. Issue: Jacob Groff, Mary, wife of Conrad Geist; Catherine, wife of Conrad Keelor; Susanna, wife of John Underkoffler; Elizabeth, wife of John Danehower; Henry, Joseph, Michael, John and Hannah Groff, the last four minors at the time of Henry’s death. (OC bk 3/141,155).

Vol VI, 1920, p. 144                                                                                                                “Some Facts About Plymouth Township Public Schools,” by George K. Brecht, esq. Wallace l. Danehower, followed for several years when Charles W. Maurer filled the position until the consolidation of the schools in 1915. Mr. Danehower was then returned as supervisor of the schools, and efficiently arranged the system under the consolidation. Mr. Danehower died January, 1918, and his widow, Alice Yeager Danehower, ws elected to take charge of the school system and continued in that position for a number of years.

Danehower, daughter of Abram and Sarah Danenhower, of Warminster, who is a member of an old family of Bucks and Montgomery counties, of German descent. Dr. and Mrs. Carrell are among the best known and most respected residents of Hatsboro, enjoying the confidence of the entire community.

Uriah Weidner married, at Norristown, June 21, 1853, Margaret L. Supplee, daughter of Joel and Phebe (Supplee) Supplee. Mrs. Weidner was born in Worcester township, May 31, 1838. The children of Mr. And Mrs. Uriah Weidner were: Frank N., born Oct. 22, 1856, married R. Ella Danehower, and has one child, Myrtie….

 p. 132                                                                                                                                    James Washington Bisson, son of Hilary and Hannay (Skeen)  Bisson, was born Sept. 17, 1842, near West Point, in Upper Gwyneed township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. He married, Feb. 20, 1869, Catharine, daughter of John S. and Sarah Kneedler) Dannehower, of Kulpville, Towamencin township and had one child: Lillie May, born Sept. 15, 1884, died July 15, 1902. She was a girl of more than usual promise, and was greatly beloved by all who knew her. Her Mother’s death, which occurred in September 1901, much affected her. 

p. 318                                                                                                                                    Thomas Thompson, married Nov. 27, 1848, a daughter of Daniel and Sarah (Hoss) Gilbert … Other children of Daniel Gilbert were: Peter, born 1817, married Mary Roberts, of Upper Dublin township, and resided near Frazer, in Chester county and had several children who live in that vicinity; Jacob, married Catharine Ann Dannehower, of Springhouse, and resided in Chester County; Daniel, married Sidney Williamson, of Coatesville, and lived in Chester County; Daniel, married Sidney Williamson, of Coatesville, Chester County; Anna Maria, married Rowland Dannehower, son of Jacob and Catharine (Hallmann) Dannehower, and resides with her daughter, Mrs. Amanda Jones, on Tennis Avenue, Ambler. Thomas Thompson (father) died May 16, 1891.
