Thomas Ural Myers was born and raised in Kentucky. He was the 3rd child born to W. L. and Lucy Myers. He met and married Mary Molly Bennett Beene in Arkansas. Mary was the daughter of John Hogan Beene and Emma Newman. She lived in Hempstead County, Arkansas until age 12. At 12 she moved with her family to Sherman, Van Alstyne, Anna, in Collins County.
Thomas Ural Myers and Mary Molly Bennett Beene were married about 1887 and had the following children: Etole (spelling unsure) born November 25, 1889 in Arkansas; Ennis born about 1894 in Texas; Ernest born about 1898 in Oklahoma; Emma Mae born about 1902 in Oklahoma; Thomas Ural Jr. born about 1905 in Oklahoma; Elvin born about 1908 in Texas; Ottis; Lewis; and Garland. Thomas raised his family in Oklahoma and Texas settling in the Brownwood and San Saba area later in life.
