This indenture made the 8th day of September in the year of our Lord 1834 between Aaron Collier Senr. and Frankey Collier of the first part; and Aaron Collier, Jr., Solomon Collier, Jehu Collier and Isaac Collier of the second part; witnesseth that whereas the said Aaron Collier, Senr. for and in consideration of the natural love and affection that he entertained for the said Aaron, Jr., Solomon, Jehu and Isaac Collier did some time since execute a deed of gift of his lands where he now lives situating in the County of Lee and State of Virginia. To the said Aaron Collier, Jr., who according to the requisites of the said Aaron, Senr. was to make separate conveyances of certain portions of these said lands to the said Solomon, John and Jacob Collier (which he has since done), and the said Aaron Collier, Jr., to retain to himself portion of said land which has all been fairly and Bona Fide done by the said Aaron Collier, Jr., Since the execution of the said deed of gift which is recorded in the County Court of Lee County aforesaid and referred to as explanatory of this deed of release. And whereas the said Aaron Collier, Jr., Solomon Collier, Jehu Collier and Isaac Collier on account of the natural love and affection that they entertain for the said Aaron Collier, Senr. and Frankey Collier did agree mutually to support and take care of the said Aaron Collier, Senr. and Frankey Collier during their natural lives, and whereas the said agreement, upon the part of the said Aaron, Jr., Solomon and Isaac Collier to support and take care of the said Aaron Collier, Senr. and Frankey Collier during their natural lives, have by some who wish to throw difficulties in the way to embarrass the title of the said Aaron, Jr., Solomon, John and Isaac Collier to said lands, has been construed to be a lien upon the said lands of the said Aaron, Jr., Solomon, John and Isaac Collier, or to be an impediment in their said title to said lands. Goes this indenture further witnesseth, that for and in consideration of the natural love and affection aforesaid which the said Aaron Collier, Senr and Frankey Collier entertained and have for the said Aaron Collier, Junr., Solomon Collier, Jehu Collier and Isaac Collier as well as for the further consideration of one dollar to them in hand paid by the said Aaron, Junr., John, Isaac and Solomon Collier at and before the ensealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, they the said Aaron Collier, Senr, and Frankey Collier have granted, bargained and sold, remitted released and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain and sell, remit and release and confirm unto the said Aaron Collier, Jr., Solomon Collier, John Collier and Isaac Collier, all the estate, rights, titles, interest, claim and demand both at law and equity, which the said Aaron Collier, Senr and Frankey Collier have or hold in the lands above referred to; for a more minute description of which the deed of gift aforesaid is referred to from the said Aaron Collier, Senr., to the said Aaron Collier, Jr. and to the said conveyances from the said Aaron Jr., to the said Solomon, John and Isaac Collier are also referred to for a more minute description of said lands. To have and to hold the said tracts or parcels of land together with all and singular their appurtenances to the said Aaron Collier, Jr., Solomon Collier, John Collier and Isaac Collier and their heirs and assigns forever to the only proper use and behoof of them the said Aaron, Jr., Solomon, Jahu and Isaac Collier their heirs and assigns forever. And the said Aaron Collier, Senr. and Frankey Collier for themselves and their heirs the above mentioned lands together with their appurtenances, unto the said Aaron, Jr., Solomon, Jehu and Isaac Collier their heirs and assigns forever against the claims of all persons whatsoever. In witness whereof the said Aaron Collier, Senr., and Frankey Collier have hereunto set their hands and affixed their seals the day and year above written.

We, John Horton and Benjamin Davis, Justices of the Peace in the county aforesaid in the state of Virginia, do hereby certify that Frankey Collier the wife of Aaron Collier, Senr. parties to a certain deed bearing date on the 8th day of September and hereunto personally appeared before us in our court aforesaid and being summoned by us privately and apart from her husband and having the deed aforesaid fully explained to her, she the said Frankey Collier acknowledged the same to be her act and deed and declared that she had willingly signed, sealed and delivered the same and that she wished not to retract it. Given under our hands and seals the 27th day of September, 1834.
