MISC. TEST. P. 2845. App #19333-19332-Mose I. Harkey, Jr. : "My name is Mose I. Harkey, Jr. I live at Hobart, Ark. I was born in 1875 in Yell Co., Ark. I claim my Indian blood through my mother, whose maiden name was Esther Conley. My mother was 29 years old in 1875. I could not tell you where she was born. I don't know the state. Whether east or west. She was married in this country. My mother got her Indian blood through her mother, whose maiden name was Sallie Parker. I don't know where my grandmother was born. My mother said that Henry Parker was her grandfather. Mary Ellen Davis told me that Henry Parker was my great grandfather, and that he was on the 1835 roll. She is 2nd cousin of mine. I think she has filed an application. She claims through the same line as I do. She lived at Millard ("Corley" crossed out), Ark. when she filed an application. I don't know whether any of my ancestors ever lived with the Eastern Cherokee tribe of Indians. I never made application before the Dawes Commission. None of my ancestors ever received any money or land from the Govt. on account of their Indian blood, as I know of. None of my relatives got any land in I.T."
