MARY HILZINGER'S CHILDREN

According to David J. Sautter's extensive research (kept at the Greenfield, Ma library) Mary Hilzinger(1806-1889) obviously had 3 illegitimate children in Germany. These children are Christian(b. 16 Nov 1828), twins Ursula and Anna Maria Hilzinger(b. 25 Nov 1833).

When Christian(b. 1828) married Barbara Weischadel he changed his name to Adler ( see Susan Tetreault Adams's website). The coincidence of birth years suggests these are the same person.

When Ursula married Jacob Markle she was listed (see Massachusetts Vital Records 1620-1905, by Jay Mack Holbrook) as the daughter of Ferdinand and Mary Hilzinger.

Consequently I have decided to list the father of Christian as Mr. Adler and the father of Ursula as Ferdinand with no surname.
