Headstone Photos - A project has begun to scan many of the headstone photographs in my files and make them available on-line. Please contact me if you have any problems with any pages, if you have any suggestions for improvements or if you have any headstone photos you would like to share with others. So far, most of the headstones are descendants of Casper Geyer or their spouses.
The GEYER
Families page covers some of the early Geyer Families in America
with some connections in Germany.
Descendants of
Hans Michael Sheely shows extensive family charts for his desendants including major
surnames like HILL and GEYER in addition to the SHEELY / SHEELY / SHELEY surname. Hans
Michael Sheely's daughter, Elizabeth, married Joseph Hill of Westmoreland County
Pennsylvania and became the progenitors of an extensive Hill family. You can go directly
to the page for Joseph Hill and Elizabeth Sheely Hill or go
the the main page for Descendants of
Hans Michael Sheely where you will find an index to all descendants. Joseph and
Elizabeth Hill had a daughter, Mary Hill, who married Casper Geyer. They became the
progenitors of an extensive Geyer family. You can go directly to web page for Casper and Mary Hill Geyer or go the the main page for Descendants of
Hans Michael Sheely where you will find an index to all descendants.
Hans Michael Sheely's widow, Elizabeth, married Christopher Beeler, becoming the second
of his three wives and a famous ghost (See Descendants of
Christopher Beeler). The account of her
ghostly adventures are presented in PDF format. Viewing and printing a file in PDF
format requires the free Acrobat Reader software from Adobe Systems.
Those interested in Sheely/Sheley/Sheeley families should also investigate information
maintained by the Nicholas Sheely/Sheeley
Family Association. As far as is known, Hans Michael Sheely is not related to Nicholas
Sheely.
