Welcome to my genealogy home page. My name is Ruth Davison and I have been working on our "Family Tree" for many years. When my husband's father died we were given the "Family Book" as he was the oldest son of the oldest son and it would now be our job to keep it up to date. I am afraid I got the "bug" and have been able to trace back many more generations on most of the lines.

You can contact me at my snail mail address: Mrs. Ruth Davison, E22-7919 Thornber Rd., Summerland, BC Canada V0H 1Z9.

I will be adding information as time permits so please visit as often as you like. If you find a mistake feel free to send me an e-mail at [email protected] or [email protected] I have received much information from family members, and I want to thank them for sharing. I will not publish any information on the internet on any living person to protect privacy. If you are a relative and interested in finding out more about living members of this vast family please contact me.

I have set up this web page to share my many years of research on both my husband's family who came from Nova Scotia to British Columbia, Canada in 1942 after spending a number of years in Alberta and my family who were Germans From Russia coming to the USA and Canada.

We had the privilege of visiting Nova Scotia in the summer of 1998 and met with many wonderful cousins who were so very friendly and helpful. We visited many of the graveyards in the areas of Colchester and Hants Counties and it really paid off because we found many dates and places for a number of relatives. We also visited the "Citadel" in Halifax and found the room for the Royal Engineers with artifacts of gggrandfather, Richard Creed, Clerk of Works, who transferred from Faversham, Kent County, England in 1820. What a thrill!!
