The Bruce and Wright Family Trees

Welcome to my Website!

Genealogy is a fascinating and rewarding hobby. Over the past two years I have made many new friends, met cousins I didn't know I had, spent hours deciphering poor quality microfiche and I've even been granted access to original documents (some dating from the 1600s). But some of my most relaxing and moving hours have been spent on warm sunny days, in quiet solitude, reading headstones in the churchyard.

My paternal family tree has its roots in the area around Ashbourne, Derbyshire and my research has so far concentrated on the Wright, Waring and Grundy families.

My maternal family tree has taken me to Norfolk where I have concentrated on the Bruce and Cuttriss families. Time permitting, future research will take me to Yorkshire where I will be researching the Anderson family.

Through this web site I hope to share some of my research with others and hopefully find even more 'lost' members of my family.
