Thank you for stopping by and viewing my genealogy pages. I have met so many nice people along the way who have helped me. So I hope there will be something here for you. Most of the lines I am researching are BENTLEY, BERNHARDT, CARSTEN, CHASE, HARDING, PEARSON, RAMESBOTHOM, SWAIN, and WHEELOCK. And, of course, I have a few elusive lines such as SMEAD and EHLER, and those pesky "unknowns."

This is very much a work in progress. And as such, most likely contains errors, typos, etc. If you find any errors, please let me know. Not all of the information has been verified. I am using this information as a stepping stone in doing my own research and would expect you to do the same. You may use the information you find here except where items have been contributed by others. Please cite my web site as your source.

I would like to acknowledge my aunt, Lois Petersen, for the genealogy work she did while she was living. I am grateful my cousin was willing to turn over her mother's collection to me to carry on the family history. And as such, I have cited this as the Petersen Collection. There were many identified pictures, hand-written biographical sketches, compiled family group sheets and letters. Many of the items were originally passed on to my grandparents, Elmer and May Harding. In turn, my aunt received these items and now I have them.

If you would like to contribute to this website, please send me copies of any letters, pictures, documents, certificates, or anything else that will add to the benefit of those researching the same lines. Also take a look at the sources. Some of them will have a link to view a photo not found elsewhere.
