Samuel S. married Emily J. (TETER) (16 Apr 1862 Circleville, Pendleton County, West Virginia - 3 Apr 1889 Riverton, Pendleton County, West Virginia).
Samuel's second marriage was to Esther T. WARNER on 18 Feb 1894. This is listed with the Clerk of Pendleton County in Franklin, West Virginia, page 60. Samuel was 33 years and Esther was 22 years, he was listed as a widower.

2 - Eva Belle (25 Aug 1887 - 2 Feb 1975 Seneca Rocks, Pendleton County, West Virginia.
Eva married Walter Russell LAMBERT 26 May 1905 in Cumberland, Cumberland County, Maryland.
She is buried in the Hendrick Cemetery in Macksville, Pendleton County, West Virginia.
Notes on Samuel
His birth certificate is recorded in Pendleton County, WV Book 1853 - 1903 page 32 recorded 1860.
Samuel went to San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas after his marriage to Esther. He was living at 117 N. Laredo Street over a general store when he died of consumption. His death certificate shows he lived in Texas 1 year and his residence was Staunton, Virginia. The Zizik-Kearns Riebe-Saunders Funeral home handled his body. Their records show his body was transported back to Staunton, Virginia and the work was guaranteed by American Express.
I have not been able to find any records of his body being accepted in Staunton, Virginia. I do believe he is buried in an unmarked grave in the Ambrose Phares Cemetery #5 in Circleville, Pendleton County, West Virginia, along with his wife Emily and his parent's.

I believe that Emily is buried at the Ambrose Phares Cemetery #5 . There is a stone with EJT as the inscription.
