Since I was a young child I have known that I belonged to a "loyal and affectionate family " and that I was born of goodly parents. In seeking after their origins and my roots I have come to know that my parents, Wilforn John Dredge, and Vera May Allen, were also born of goodly parents whose progenitors sacrificed a great deal as they left their homes to come to America.
The purpose of this web page is to share some of what I have learned about my ancestors and to connect with other family members who might be willing to share what they know in return. I express appreciation to my parents and grandparents, and those aunts, uncles and cousins who carefully kept and preserved their records. I seek to extend their research efforts, to preserve and pass on to my descendants the records I have inherited.
I have sought to be accurate in the content and will continue to work on providing adequate documentation. In addition I will gladly receive input, additional information and pictures from any who want to share.
