	Jane Tresidder BEAGLEHOLE married Edward MILLSTEAD (MILLSTEED), on DEC 14 1847 Helston Cornwall. She died on June 8th, 1913
		Edward Milstead was born July 31 1823, and died February 26 1891. Edward Milstead 15, his parents and 3 siblings listed in 1841 Census living at Lower Green, Wendron, Cornwall.
		Jane Tressider Beaglehole and her husband Edward/Edmund Millstead emigrated to South Australia on board the PRINCESS ROYALE which arrived in Adelaide, on June 14th, 1848. This branch of the Millstead family appears to have stayed in South Australia. Edward/Edmund and Jane had 11 children. He died in Adelaide on 26 February 1891, and Jane died there on 8 June 1913. Jane Tressider Beaglehole's cousin Susannah married Josiah Millstead, brother of Jane's husband Edward Millstead. Susannah and Josiah came to South Australia two years before, in 1846.
			In August 1853 Edward MILSTEAD/MILLSTEED sold the Tea Tree Gully land for £140 and went to the VICTORIAN GOLDFIELDS at MOUNT ALEXANDER with his wife's brothers John and William Henry Beaglehole. Until recently we thought they had travelled the OVERLAND ROUTE trek from South Australia. We now know the ship CHARLOTTE JANE took them to Melbourne. From there they journeyed to the goldfields. Edward Milstead returned home after 3 months. William and John Beaglehole stayed, financed by Edward. Over the next 15 months Edward made 2 more trips to Victoria, each of a month in duration.
