Their son William Henry BEAGLEHOLE (1833) was born in 1833 at St Austell Cornwall, and came to South Australia in 1851. William Henry (a brickmaker and lay preacher) moved to New Zealand and married Mary Jane ROBERTSON (1837-1913) on January 4th, 1866, at the Primitive Methodist chapel in Webb Street; Wellington, NZ where he died in 1911. In 1866 there was a Beaglehole listed as a Brickmaker in Taranaki Street, Wellington, NZ. Absolam/Absolom was 39 when he married Jane WILLIAMSON 33 (born 1846) on 1879-09-10 at the residence of Mr Williamson, at Emu Vale (SA.120/852) Their children: Ann (1881), Georgina (1883), John (1886) and William (1889) John BEAGLEHOLE (1798) married Margaret WATTERS (widow - nee Williams) on April 20th 1842 at St. Cleer, Cornwall, England. Their children: Joseph Watters BEAGLEHOLE was born 1843-44. He was a labourer and miner, lived at Wallaroo and died April 9, 1913 at Broken Hill, NSW He was 8 when he arrived in SA on board the SULTANA in 1851. Joseph was 20 when he married Thirza HUNN 19 (1844-1903) on 1863-10-20 Their children: Victoria (1864), Mary Ellen (1865), Louise (1867), John (1869), Samuel (1871), Thirza (1881), Joseph Claude (1883), Cora (1884), Albert (1885), Joseph Claude (1883) Sampson Watters BEAGLEHOLE (born 1847-48 at Listkeard). He was 3 when he arrived in SA on board the SULTANA in 1851 and died c.1895 in NSW (or WA ?) Following John BEAGLEHOLE (1798)'s death in 1849 at Liskeard, Cornwall, Margaret decided to emigrate to South Australia on board the SULTANA in 1851,
with her two sons Joseph (1843), Sampson (1847), and her step-children William (b.1833), Mary (1838) and Absolom (1840).
