The Dawn of America

This is a history of the American people.  It has been gleamed from various source, most quite old.  I started out with Europe at the time of the age of discovery, so that we could have some background on what lead to the discovery of the New World.  I do not know how far I will carry this journey.  This is a work in progress.

Maybe, this will help the genealogist (it is definitely not for historians) to better understand his or her ancestors.  Maybe, also it might help to understand why ggggrandpa moved from place to place, or why he did not receive any land.

I have in fact two “books”, one of which is condensed.  In the non condensed version, there are links to other related sites on the internet and illustrations.  The condensed version does not have these links nor does it have the illustrations.  It also has considerable less detail in its text.
