IN LOVING MEMORY
LT. COL (USAF Ret) MARSHALL STUBBLEFIELD
Dec 2, 1910- Dec 27, 1996 Enlisted as a Private in the Army at age 16 in 1936, transferred to the Army Air Corps. Served in WWII
and Korea.
Retired as Lt. Col. in the US Air Force in 1960.
After my Grandfather's death, during family research we found a Half-brother he never knew.
James Edward "Jimmie" Stubblefield (Spalding) 1917-1944. Jimmie enlisted in WWII(1-9-1943) and served as Corporal in the 253RD Armed Field Artillery Battalion until he was killed in battle in France on Sept. 27, 1944.
