How to order copies

Thank you for your interest in the Richland Center newspaper. The response to the online index has been overwhelming and everyone involved in this project asks for your patience in filling requests.

Since the library staff has many other duties and is only available part time, we are trying to establish procedures to handle the large volume of requests resulting from the posting of the index. Since I still have an extra copy of these rolls, I can do some copies to help clear the stack of requests. After the initial demand is met, hopefully the library will be able to handle occasional requests.

The standard cost of copies from microfilm is $1 per page plus the research time of the librarian to locate the article, make the print, then organize postage and mailing.
Anyone who wants an article can send $1 for each and a self addressed stamped #10 envelope (the standard business size 4 1/8 x 9 ). A check or money order should be made payable to Margaret Jordan.

1 to 3 articles can be sent for $0.37 postage, 4 to 9 sheets for $0.60. More than 9 sheets will not fit in an envelope. If more than 9 articles are desired, please send the appropriate number of SAS #10 envelopes.

All names, amounts, dates requested, when received, copied and mailed will be maintained on a special spreadsheet and part of each $1 will be turned over to the Richland County History Room. One copy of the accounting sheet will be sent to the Library for their records.

Requests (with the SASE and a check or money order) can be sent to:
