| I would like to find the parents of Elizabeth Scoville. She was born in 1773 and married Jonas Everett. They settled in Stone Mills, Jefferson Conty NY, and are buried there. They were the parents of Clarissa Everett who married Stephen Scoville, and Brainard Everett who married Flavilla Britton. Other children were Harriet, Orrin, Eliza and Philena. | I will share information on the descendants of Brainard; also Everett and Britton ancestors.
I have searched both John and Arthur Scoville genealogies and can find
no family that fits with Elizabeth unless she was an unrecorded daughter of Ebenezer Scovil of Jefferson County. In that case where did the name
Brainard come from? That name seems to be in the John line and Ebenezer
is from Arthur's line.
This is of special interest to me as Brainard and Flavilla were my
gggrandparents. |
