New Book
St. Patrick’s Church was opened
in 1782 and was recently completely renovated. Some of the
parishioners, together with the Parish Priest, Fr.
Farren, have compiled a book about the area to help raise funds for the
renovation work. The book is of a very high standard and
includes photographs of the staff and pupils attending the two
old schools. They were taken 1920’s – 1950’s.
Also included is information from the schools’ registers,
If anyone is interested in purchasing the book they could send a cheque to Fr. Farren at the Parochial House and he will post the books out. Cheques should to made out to the equivalent value in €.
