JAMES DRUCE
James (b.1721) was the eldest son of Mathew (b.1685) and Jane. He was baptised at St. John's Church, Frome on 20th September 1724 at the same time as his younger brother George.
James married Rebecca Parsons on 2 August 1742 at St. John's Church. James and Rebecca produced five children, namely, John (b.1743), William (b.1745), Mary (b.1747), Elizabeth (b.1752 and Anne (b.1760). James was buried on 25th December 1789 and Rebecca was buried on 2nd September 1808.
John was baptised at St John's Church on 10 February 1750 on the same day as his younger brother William and sister Mary. John, married Fanny Stride (1745-1802) on 26th November 1771 at St. John's Church.
William was baptised at St John's Church on 10 February 1750. He married Diana Wallis on 17th July 1766 at St. John's Church.
Mary was baptised at St John's Church on 10 February 1750. Mary married Nathaniel Wallis (possibly a brother of Diana) on 8th November 1773 at St. John's Church.
Elizabeth was baptised at St John's Church on 27 June 1752.
Anne was baptised at St John's Church on 27 September 1760.
