JOHN DRUCE (BORN 1824)
John was the third son of James (b.1798)and Sarah. He was baptised at St John's Church on 24 October 1835, the same day as brothers Charles and James and sisters Emma and Ann.
John's occupation was that of a carpenter, as evidenced by the Census Records of 1851 (Vicarage Street) and 1871 (Union Workhouse, Frome), although his name does not appear on the 1881 Census Records, which might suggest that he was elsewhere in the country seeking work.
John died in 1884 aged 57 years. His address, at the time when he died, was Wiltshire's Buildings, according to the register of burials at Holy Trinity Church, Frome.
