MATHEW DRUCE (BORN 1575)
Mathew is my earliest traceable ancestor in Frome. He was baptised at St John's Church on 4 September 1575 (parents names not shown in register).
He married Susan Boorne (b. abt 1578) on 9 February 1596/97 at the Parish Church at Berkley in Somerset. Mathew and Susan had at least six children, namely Mathew (baptised on 28th February 1601/2), James (baptised on 28th January 1609/10), William (baptised on 2nd February 1611/2), Anthony (baptised on 6th Nowember 1614), Richard (baptised on 22nd February 1617/8) and Humphrey (baptised on 23rd January 1619/20). All baptisms were conducted at St John's Church.
