Note : George Spanswick Purchased his Discharge 22nd October 1881. He was a then Private in the 63 Regt. of the 2nd Battalion R. Irish Rifles, No. 1194, stationed in Bermuda,
and received �11. 5s. 8d. Deferred Pay on leaving the army.
There is a possiblity that George Spanswick was the son of William and Jane Spanswick(formerly Jane Baker) who was born in 1861. William and Jane were married at Newbury in 1860. Hopefully a Bermuda census may turn up to support this.
