Sandys Burial

Jan 10 1899George Spanswick age 38 years of Sandy Late 86 Regt of Foot

Note : George Spanswick Purchased his Discharge 22nd October 1881. He was a then Private in the 63 Regt. of the 2nd Battalion R. Irish Rifles, No. 1194, stationed in Bermuda,
and received 11. 5s. 8d. Deferred Pay on leaving the army.
There is a possiblity that George Spanswick was the son of William and Jane Spanswick(formerly Jane Baker) who was born in 1861. William and Jane were married at Newbury in 1860. Hopefully a Bermuda census may turn up to support this.
