Fragments of a copy of an agreement regarding ownership of the Albion Beer House

Sometime the most unlikely scraps can throw light on your families past. When my great aunt Jessie Middleton moved to the Chalet on Totteridge Hill, High Wycombe, from 39, Brunner Road, Ealing, she took most of the house contents with her and so I found the following scraps tucked inside a masonic handbook in the base of the china dresser back in the late 1970's, and written by my Great Grandfather William Henry Middleton. This is the only evidence Albion Beer House, which stood at 28 East Road City Road, Hoxton, Middlesex, transfered from being run by my Great Great Grandfather, thomas Middleton, to his son William Longley Middleton, by this agreement dated 1876.
