Nov 1 1880. Commenced the afternoon meetings at 1.45 instead of 1.30 as many scholars cannot get here by the latter time on Wednesday the Thursday owing to Church Practice occuring on those days. Admitted Sarah & Eliza Spanswick. 2. Ditto Fanny, Emily, William, and Minnie Tomlin. 5. Attendance has been very good during the past week. Average 145. Punished Joseph Hine and James Wallis for playing truant on the previous afternoon.

July 17 1881 Admitted Mary, Eliza, and Walter Turner. Took Annie Detfield off books. 19. Attendance Officer called respecting the number of times made by Eliza Spanswick.

Oct.7 1881 The Newmans and Brookers still absent in consequence of the "Scarlet Fever". The Spanswicks had left the parish. Revd. J. Slatter visited on the 4th and 5th inst. and gave Scripture Lessons. Attendance very fair.
