Thomas Middleton Family tradition has it that this photograph of Thomas Middleton was given to my great grandfather William Henry Middleton after his death in 1891 as a memento (possibly even copied after his death) from his aunt Ann Middleton .

The photographers label attached to the back is "J Hyde & Son, Artists in Photography, 103 Holborn Hill, Portraits Taken for Brooches Pins and Rings on Patent Cloth warrented not to fade, Works of Art carefully copied".
