AT the Court at St. James's, the 16th Day of January, 1728.
PRESENT,
The King's most Excellent Majesty in council.

Whereas in the Act of Uniformity, which establishes the Liturgy of the Church of England, Provision is made for such Alterations in the Prayers for the Royal Family, as from Time to Time shall become necessary, and be directed by lawful Authority: It is thereupon this Day ordered by His Majesty in Council, That in the Morning and Evening Prayers, in the Litany, and in all other Parts of the Publick Service, as well in the Occasional Offices, as in the Book of Common Prayer, where the Royal Family is appointed to be particularly prayed for; the following Form and Order shall be observed, viz.
Our Gracious Queen Caroline, their Royal Highnesses Frederick Prince of Wales, the Duke, the Princesses, and all the Royal Family.
And His Majesty doth strictly charge and command, That no Edition of the Common Prayer be from henceforth printed, but with this Amendment; and that in the mean time, till Copies of such Edition may be had, all Parsons, Vicars and Curates within this Realm.; do (for the preventing of Mistakes) with the Pen correct and amend all such Prayers in their Church-Books, according to the aforegoing Direction : And for the better Notice hereof, That this Order be forthwith printed and published, and sent to the several Parishes; and, that the Right Reverend the Bishops do take Care that Obedience be paid to the same accordingly.

The Sum of Eight Pounds Ten Shillings brought to the Treasury Chambers the 16th Instant, from an unknown Hand, desiring that the same might be paid into the Exchequer on Account of the Sinking Fund, has been received, and is paid in there accordingly.
The Commissioners of His Majesty's Revenue of Excise design to expose to Sale in their Court Room at the Exchequer Office, London, on Thursday the 23d Instant, at Three a-Clock in the Afternoon, several Parcels of condemn'd Bohea and Green Tea, Coffee, Chocolate, Brandy, Rum, Arrack, and Cordial Waters. Printed Allotments of which will be ready to be delivered at the Excise Office and Warehouses nigh the Custom-House, on Tuesday the 21st Instant, and the Goods to be seen on Tuesday and Wednesday, from One to Four in the Afternoon, and on Thursday from Twelve a Clock to the Time of Sale.
The Commissioners for Hackney Coaches hereby give Notice, That the Moieties of several Fines set on Coachmen which could not be recovered till long after the respective Convictions, are now recovered and remaining in the Hands of their Officer, ready to be paid to the Persons that prosecuted the Complaints, if they will call for the same any Tuesday or Friday, between Ten and Two, at their Office in Surrey-Street.

Custom-House, London, Jan. 14, 1728.

For Sale, by Order of the Honourable Commissioners of his Majesty's Customs, &c. On Thursday the 23d of January 1728, at Two a-Clock in the Afternoon, will be exposed to Sale in the Long Room at the Custom-House, London, Eighty Casks of refused Wine, which are to be distilled into Brandy or made into Vinegar within three Months after the Delivery, for which a sufficient Security is to be given by Bond, to be cancelled upon producing a proper Certificate from the Officers of Excise. TO be seen at the several Warehouses on Tuesday the 21st, Wednesday the 22d, from Eight to Twelve in the Forenoon, and from Two till Five in the Afternoon, and on Thursday all the Morning before the Sale.

N.B. Catalogues to be had at the King's Warehouse under the Custom-House.

Observations of the CONDUCT of GREAT BRITAIN, with Regard to the NEGOTIATIONS and other TRANSACTIONS Abroad. Sold by James Roberts, near the Oxford Arms, in Warwick-Lane, Price One Shilling.




Pursuant to an Order made by the Right Honourable the Lord High Chancellour of Great Britain, for inlarging the Time for David Baxter, later of Lothbury, London, Warehouseman, to finish his Examination : This is to give Notice, that he will attend the Commissioners on the 27th Instant, at Three in the Afternoon, at Guildhall, London, to finish his Examination accordingly he having already surrendered himself and been examined; and the Creditors are then to assent or dissent from the Allowance of his Certificate.



TO be Lett from Lady-Day next, for the Remainder of a Term therein, Four Closes of Pasture, late in the Occupation of William Parker, of New Brentford, deceased, being Part of Boston Farm, held by Richard Longland of Christopher-Clitherow, Esq; pursuant to an Order of the Lord High Chancellour of Great Britain, before Francis Elde, Esq; one of the Masters of the High Court of Chancery, at his Chamber in Symond's Inn in Chancery-lane, London; where Particulars may be had.




ALL Persons indebted to the Estates of Anthony Selfe, late of London, Mercer and Woollendraper, or of Lydia Selfe, his late Widow, are desired forthwith to pay their said Debts to James Passwater, of Little Wild-street near Drury-Lane, who is Administrator to the said Anthony and Lydia, otherwise they will be sued for the same. Also their late Dwelling-House, the Hare and Crown in Lombard-street, is to be Lett. Where are to be Sold, a large Quantity of fresh Superfines and of low prized Scarlet, and other good Cloths. The Price fixt upon each Piece or Remnant, being the Stock of the said late Anthony Selfe.




THE Commissioners in the Commission of Bankrupt awarded against Joseph Stoke, late of Cherry Tree Alley, in the Parish of St.Giles Cripplegate, in the County of Middlesex, Buckrum-Stiffner, intend to meet on the 27th Instant, at Three in the Afternoon, at Guildhall, London, (by an Order of the Right Honourable the Lord High Chancellour of Great Britain) to sell a Mount or Shed belonging to the said Bankrupt, as it is now standing.




ALL persons that have any Pledges at the late Mr. Thomas Waters's, at the Sun in Charter-House-Lane, near West-Smithfield, such as wearing Apparel, Plate, Rings, Jewels, Watches, &c. are desired to fetch the said Things away by Lady-Day next, or they will be sold. N.B. His Widow is resolved to leave off the Trade.




Whereas a Commission of Bankrupt is awarded against James Stout and Samuel Cowden, of Queenhith, London, Mealfactors and Partners, and they being declared , Bankrupts; are hereby required to surrender themselves to the Commissioners on the 24th and 31st Instant, and on the 17th of February next, at Three in the Afternoon, at Guildhall, London; at the first of which Sittings the Creditors are to come prepared to prove their Debts, pay Contribution-Money, and chuse Assignees. And all Persons indebted to the said Bankrupts, or that have any Goods or Effects of theirs in their Hands, are to give Notice thereof to Mr. Mallery, Attorney, in Crane-Court, Fleet-Street, London.




Whereas a Commission of Bankrupt is awarded against Maurrice Barrow, of London, Merchant, and he being declared a Bankrupt; is hereby required to surrender himself to the Commissioners on the 24th and 31st Instant, and on the 17th of February next, at Three in the Afternoon, at Guildhall, London; at the second of which Sittings the Creditors are to come prepared to prove their Debts, pay Contribution-Money, and chuse Assignees. And all Persons indebted to the said Bankrupt, or that have any Goods or Effects of his in their Hands, are to give Notice thereof to Mr. John Marsh, Attorney, in Carey-Street, near Lincolns-lnn Fields.




Whereas a Commission of Bankrupt is awarded against John Browne, of the Parish of St.Mary Whitechapel, in the County of Middlesex, Brewer, and he being declared a Bankrupt; is hereby required to surrender himself to the Commissioners on the 24th and 31st Instant, and on the 17th of February next, at Three in the Afternoon, at Guildhall, London; at the second of which Sittings the Creditors are to come prepared to prove their Debts, pay Contribution-Money, and chuse Assignees. And all Persons indebted to the said Bankrupt, or that have any Goods or Effects of his in their Hands, are to give Notice thereof to Mr. Robert Bird, at No.4, in Boswell Court near Lincolns-lnn, London.




Whereas a Commission of Bankrupt is awarded against John May, of Great Torrington, in the County of Devon, Butcher, and he being declared a Bankrupt; is hereby required to surrender himself to the Commissioners on the 6th, 12th, and 17th of February next, at Ten in the Forenoon, at the House of Daniel Muxworthy, being the Globe in Great Torrington aforesaid; at the second of which Sittings the Creditors are to come prepared to prove their Debts, pay Contribution-Money, and chuse Assignees.




Whereas a Commission of Bankrupt is awarded against John Eyloe, late of the Parish of St.Andrew's Holbourn, in the County of Middlesex, Distiller, and he being declared a Bankrupt; is hereby required to surrender himself to the Commissioners on the 24th and 31st Instant, and on the 17th of February next, at Three in the Afternoon, at Guildhall, London; at the second of which Sittings the Creditors are to come prepared to prove their Debts, pay Contribution-Money, and chuse Assignees. And all Persons indebted to the said Bankrupt, or that have any Goods or Effects of his in their Hands, are to give Notice thereof to Mr. Richard Humphreys, Attorney, in Coleman-Street, London.




Whereas Josiah Paul Burnaby, of Chipping Wycomb, in the County of Bucks, Victualler and Innholder, hath surrendered himself (pursuant to Notice) and been twice examined; This is to give Notice, that he will attend the Commissioners on the 27th Instant, at Three in the Afternoon, at Guildhall, London, to finish his Examination; when and where the Creditors are to come prepared to prove their Debts, pay Contribution-Money, and assent to or dissent from the Allowance of his Certificate.




Whereas Cesar Collys, of Bond-Street, in the Parish of St.George Hanover-Square, in the County of Middlesex, Apothecary, hath surrendered himself (pursuant to Notice) and been twice examined; This is to give Notice, that he will attend the Commissioners on the 3d of February next, at Three in the Afternoon, at Guildhall, London, to finish his Examination; when and where the Creditors are to come prepared to prove their Debts, pay Contribution-Money, and assent to or dissent from the Allowance of his Certificate.




Whereas Humphry Boon, of the Park, in the Parish of St.Saviour's Southwark, Chapman and Dealer, hath surrendered himself, pursuant to Notice, and been twice examined; this is to give Notice, that he will attend the Commissioners on the 27th Instant, at Three in the Afternoon, at Guildhall, London, to finish his Examination; when and where the Creditors are to come prepared to prove their Debts, pay Contribution-Money, and assent to or dissent from the Allowance of his Certificate.




Whereas Richard Wancklen, of the City of Worcester, Tallow Chandler and Dealer in Hopps, hath surrendered himself (pursuant to Notice) and been twice examined; This is to give Notice, that he will attend the Commissioners on the 27th of January Instant, at Three in the Afternoon, at Lyon's Coffee-House in the High-Street in the City of Worcester, to finish his Examination; when and where the Creditors are to come prepared to prove their Debts, pay Contribution-Money, and assent to or dissent from the Allowance of his Certificate.




Whereas Thomas Brumell, of the Town and County of Newcastle upon Tyne, Hoastman, hath surrendered himself, pursuant to Notice, and been examined : This is to give Notice, that he will attend the Commissioners on the 1st of February next, at Ten of the Forenoon, at Mrs Jane Bell's Coffee-House in the Flesh-Market in Newcastle upon Tyne; when and where the Creditors are to come prepared to prove their Debts, pay Contribution-Money, and assent to or dissent from the Allowance of his Certificate.




THE Commissioners in a renewed Commission of Bankrupt, awarded against James Mazell, late of Coleman-Street, London, Exchange-Broker, intend to meet on the 11th of February next, at Three in the Afternoon, at Guildhall, London, in order to make a Dividend of the said Bankrupt's Estate; when and where the Creditors who have not already proved their Debts, and paid their Contribution Money, are to come prepared to do the same; or they will be excluded the Benefit of the said Dividend.




THE Commissioners in a Commission of Bankrupt, awarded against William Moore, of Crambrooke, in the County of Kent, Chapman, intend to meet on the 13th of February next, at Three in the Afternoon, at Guildhall, London, in order to make a Dividend of the said Bankrupt's Estate; when and where the Creditors who have not already proved their Debts, and paid their Contribution Money, are to come prepared to do the same; or they will be excluded the Benefit of the said Dividend.




THE Commissioners in a Commission of Bankrupt, awarded against Richard Yardley, now or late of Abchurch-lane, London, Merchant, intend to meet on the 4th of February next, at Three in the Afternoon, at Guildhall, London, in order to make a Dividend of the said Bankrupt's Estate; when and where the Creditors who have not already proved their Debts, and paid their Contribution Money, are to come prepared to do the same; or they will be excluded the Benefit of the said Dividend.




THE Commissioners in a Commission of Bankrupt, awarded against John Wilson, of Walsall, in the County of Stafford, Ironmonger, intend to meet on the 3d of February next, at One in the Afternoon, at the House of John Beete, in Birmingham, in the County of Warwick, called the Castle-Inn, in order to make a Dividend of the said Bankrupt's Estate; when and where the Creditors who have not already proved their Debts, and paid their Contribution Money, are to come prepared to do the same; or they will be excluded the Benefit of the said Dividend.




THE Commissioners in a renewed Commission of Bankrupt, awarded against Peter Hodgshon, of Sunderland near the Sea, in the County of Durham, Butcher, intend to meet on the 28th Instant, at Mrs. Sarah Robson's, Innkeeper, at Sunderland aforesaid, at Eleven in the Forenoon, in order to make a Dividend of the said Bankrupt's Estate; when and where the Creditors who have not already proved their Debts, and paid their Contribution Money, are to come prepared to do the same; or they will be excluded the Benefit of the said Dividend. And the said Creditors are then to assent to or dissent from the Allowance of his Certificate.




THE Commissioners in a renewed Commission of Bankrupt, awarded against Thomas Lloyd, of Ludgate-street, London, Mercer, intend to meet on the 13th of February next, at Three in the Afternoon, at Guildhall, London, in order to make a second Dividend of the said Bankrupt's Estate; when and where the Creditors who have not already proved their Debts and paid their Contribution Money, are to come prepared to do the same; or they will be excluded the Benefit of the said Dividend.




THE Commissioners in a Commission of Bankrupt, awarded against Francis Vigor, late of the City of Bristol, Woollendraper, intend to meet on the 13th of February next, at Ten in the Forenoon, at the Nagg's Head Tavern in Wine-street, Bristol, to make a Dividend of the said Bankrupt's Estate; when and where the Creditors who have not already proved their Debts, and paid their Contribution Money, are to come prepared to do the same; or they will be excluded the Benefit of the said Dividend.




Whereas the acting Commissioners in a commission of Bankrupt awarded against Robert Saunders, of Leadenhall-Street, London, Spectacle-maker, have certified to the Right Honourable Peter Lord King, Baron of Ockkam, Lord High Chancellour of Great Britain, that the said Robert Saunders hath in all Things conformed himself according to the Directions of the several Acts of Parliament made concerning Bankrupts; This is to give Notice, that his Certificate will be allowed and confirmed as the said Acts direct, unless Cause be shewn to the contrary on or before the 7th of February next.
