In which Paper is also contained under the like feigned Names and Representations, false, malicious, and scandalous Reflections, intending to vilify His Sacred Majesty; His Family and Government, and alienate the Affections of the People from Him; together with the highest and most groundless Reproaches against the Person and Memory of our late most glorious Sovereign King George the First. We do therefore present the said printed Paper (one Copy whereof is hereunto annexed) as a false, infamous, scandalous, seditious and treasonable Libel, written; printed and published in Contempt of, and against the Peace of His Majesty; and humbly pray this Court would be pleased to cause such Proceeding to be had against the Authors, Printers, and Publishers thereof, for their exemplary Punishment, as may be by Law. Fontainebleau, Oct 29, N.S. The King passed the Night of the 27th Instant very well, slept as usual; and the next Morning several Physicians who had been sent for, being arrived from Paris, they found his Majesty without any Pain, Fever, or Emotion, but such as are necessary to force out the Pimples, and which constantly attend the kindest and gentlest Eruption till the Disease has thrown itself quite out; which is now thought to be the Case, by the great Quantity of Pimples which have gradually and successively covered his whole Body, and that in such a regular and easy Manner, that the first Eruptions are already drying up and disappearing, while the latter, after having risen to their proper Plumpness and Maturity, are in Suppuration. These happy and kindly Symptoms have determined the Physicians to leave the Distemper to the natural Strength and Goodness of his Majesty's Constitution, and to assist it with nothing but Bouillons and Crabs-Eyes. In this Situation his Majesty continued last Night, and slept without Interruption from Ten a-Clock till Seven this Morning, with the same Appearance of doing well; which, together with the Opinion of the Physicians that all the Humours are intirely broken out, and that the distemper is to be dated from Sunday the 24th Instant, when his Majesty first began to be disordered, tho' he concealed it, and struggled against it, has filled this Court with the greatest Joy.
