Some Selected Reports from The Windsor and Eton Express

Robberies at the Late Kings Funeral
Notwithstanding the exertions of the new police and other peace officers employed on the above mournful occasion the robberies committed in the Castle yard and Chapel were very numerous.
Many of the inhabitants of Windsor and Eton, who were incautious enough to take their cash with them, returned home without it, so that there is no doubt whatever of the body of thieves
present having reaped upon the whole a very excellent harvest.
Sudden Death
This morning as a poor woman, named Deane, who resides at George-green, Langley, was proceeding through the Playing Fields to Windsor, in company with her niece, she suddenly fell on
the ground, and expired instantly.
