Death records in this book cover the years 1891-1947. Copied from Uniontown newspapers, it
primarily mentions people from the Fairchance-Smithfield Pennsylvania area. Cemetery records
copied by Kathryn include mostly the SW Pennsylvania area although there are a few from the
Eastern West Virginia area. Some records are from research in connection with the compiler's
Cooley-Walters lines. Others are from death notices in her 1800 card index from Uniontown
