Peace Reformed congregation was formerly called Muddy Creek Reformed Church. Their congregation and Muddy Creek's Lutheran Congregation used were one congregation and used one church (Muddy Creek's) untill1968 when the Unions with Lutherans dissolved and the Union Congregation of Muddy Creek merged with St. Paul's Church of Adamstown's Union congregation. The new congregation adopted the name "Peace" and the present church was constructed in 1970. Peace U.C.C uses the Muddy Creek Lutheran Church's Cemetery.
