William married Emily "Millie" BOLLING, daughter of Wiley BOLLING and Elizabeth PENCE, about 1849 in Washington County, Illinois. Emily was born Aug 1833 in Alabama. She died Feb 23 1914 in Walnut Ridge, Lawrence County, Arkansas and was buried in Austin Cemetery, Walnut Ridge, Arkansas.
They had the following children:

She died before 1900 in Randolph County, Arkansas. 5 M iv Catham CHANEY. 6 M v Ben CHANEY was born about 1860. + 7 F vi Arno F. Anroe W. "Anne" CHANEY was born Nov 30 1860.
