First Generation

1. Thomas LAWRENCE was born about 1784 in North Carolina.

Information on the Lawrence family has come from a variety of sources. The first information came from Bill Pickett's notes on the Picketts. Recently D. Diley has provided additional materials on Lawrences, Pierces and Clements. Thank you. And the latest additions were generously provided by Sherry Link another Lawrence descendant. Thanks to Sherry her information has connected the various fragments of Lawrence together as one Thank you, Sherry. Further research should provide a highly detailed look into the Lawrences of Lawrence County, Northeast Arkansas and Southeast Missouri. Thomas married Elizabeth BRYANT. Elizabeth was born 1805 in Georgia.
