Ilese was best remembered by her grandchildren and children for her storytelling skills. Her repertoire included, Uncle Remus' Tales and LIttle Cocoa Brown. Tapes of her storytelling were recorded by her grandson, Robert Bolinger; these tapes have been reproduced and can be found on this website in the Oral History section. |
