Pennsylvania appears to be the primary entry point for many if not most of the Frey's that will be identified. The bulk of these Frey's/Fry's appear to be Moravian German immigrants where there is a lot of good ancestral descriptions. Some of these immigrants moved on to MD, VA, NC, KY and TN. I'd appreciate submittals of ancestral files for these PA immigrants either directly or by web links. I'm sure there are a number of British Isle Fry immigrants but so far I have not received a single comment regarding the "English" Fry's and from this limited data I'm concluding that most Frey's/Fry's in America descend from German immigrants.
