In the
course of researching my own Edgar ancestors who arrived in the
Glasgow from Ulster c1900, I have accumulated information on numerous
individual and families from the same region. It is my intention
to make that information available via the internet to other Edgar
family historians.
The site will be of particular interest to those with Edgar ancestors
from County Tyrone, Londonderry and Glasgow . However,even if you
are unaware of any ancestors in those areas, it is still worth checking
out the Glasgow information in particular. Employment opportunities
in the city and surrounding area drew in huge numbers of workers
from Ireland and other parts of Scotland.
