Martin Standridge Sr enlisted in Company C, 1st Ark Infantry, USA
Enlisted: February 12, 1863, at Fayetteville, Arkansas as a Private.
Born: Circa 1837 Richland Creek Newton County, Arkansas
Description: 6' 0" tall, dark complexion, gray eyes, light hair.
Died: of typhoid fever in Newton County on March 18, 1863.
Buried: Richland Cemetery Newton County, Arkansas.
His wife, Eliza Standridge, applied for widow's pension in 1866.
Martin W. Standridge was the son of Samuel James and Mahala Lucinda Morgan Standridge.
