Mrs. Ramona Ann Harderson, 54, of Ozone died Sunday, December 26, 1999, at AMI St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. She was a daughter of the late Frank and Ruth Stepp Caldwell, member of Salus Free Holiness Church and an employee of Sara Lee Hosiery.

Survivors include her husband, Cordell Harderson; two daughters, Mary Lou Stepp of Russellville and Karen Bocksnick of Knoxville; three sisters, Corlie Harderson of Oark, Matilda Mahoney of Pennsylvania, and Josephine Osborne of New Hampshire; two brothers, Floyd Caldwell and Dale Caldwell, both of Pennsylvania; and five grandchildren.

Burton Harp, 67, of Salem died Sunday. Born in Lamar, Colo., he moved to Salem in 1939 and served in the Army during the Korean War. He sold real estate, retiring in 1981. He enjoyed the outdoors, watching sports and was a member of the Real Estate Exchange Club.

Survivors include his wife, Clarine, whom he married in 1956; sons, Doug and Don, both of Salem and Dale of Stayton; daughter, Deedra Harp of Salem; brothers, Gene of Eugene and Richard and Ron, both of Salem; sisters, Norma Jacobs of Keizer, Rena Dale of Salem and Patricia Reppeto and Shirley Montes, both of Dallas; and six grandchildren.

Tina Harris, 104, of Huntsville died June 4, 2001, at Meadowview Healthcare and Rehab in Huntsville. She was born Oct. 20, 1896, in Madison County, near Huntsville, to Hosea Oliver and Nora Belle Carlock Reeves. She grew up on a farm on War Eagle Creek, near Hawkins Mill, and she was a Baptist and a homemaker. Her husband, Doyle Wythe Harris, died Aug. 10, 1971.

Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Virginia Stanphill of Huntsville and Vera Sisco and Thirl of Eugene, Ore.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter, Paige Layne Stanphill of Tulsa, Okla.; one nephew and two nieces, including Ruby Tevebaugh of Springdale.

Carl William Hartman, 58, died May 18, 2001. He was born March 20, 1943, in Cleveland, Miss.

He was an Army veteran, serving in Guam during the Vietnam era. He moved to Harrison in 1974 from Missouri. He was a member of the Eagle Heights Baptist Church in Harrison and a Sunday School teacher of 2-year-old children. He worked for Claridge Products for more than 20 years. In 1999, he moved to Centerton and was a member of the Centerton First Baptist Church. He was an avid bowler, whose bowling career had 13 perfect games. In April 1998, the American Bowling Congress honored him with a plaque for 25 years of consecutive participation in the ABC national competition. He also enjoyed golfing.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Kay Renshaw Hartman, to whom he was married Oct. 23, 1965; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Wade Hartman and Laurie of Lowell and Chad Allan Hartman and Melanie of Centerton; one granddaughter, Logan Paige Hartman of Centerton; his parents Mike and Wilma Long of Lake, Mich.; two sisters, Connie Grey of Sault Ste. Herbert Clifton Hausam, 77, of 626 Terry Avenue, Springdale, died March 8, 2000 at the Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born May 24, 1922 at Fort Scott, Kansas, the son of Clifford William and Edna May Myers Hausam. He was retired from the United States Army as a Captain and was a veteran of World War Two and the Korean War. He was a Lutheran and a member of the United States Army Association and the Retired Officers Association

His wife, Pearl Hayes, died in 1996.

Doyne Hefley, 84, of Russellville died Sunday, May 13, 2001 at Stella Manor Nursing Center. A son of the late Mitchell Irvin and Ola Shelton Hefley, he was born March 7, 1917, in Newton County. He was a star route mail carrier in Newton County for over 20 years. He retired from Con Agra Foods in Russellville in 1983, havind served over 10 years as a security guard. He was a member of the 5th and Greenwich Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Hefley, and a sister, Sybil Hefley. Survivors include his wife, Lilden Hefley; two sons, James R. Hefley of Marion and Gary Hefley of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; a daughter, Brigetta Smith of Russellville; a sister, Helen Pratt of Ozark; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Henry C. Heflin age 79 of Independence, died Friday, March 2, 2001 at the Maywood Terrace Living Center.

Mr. Heflin was born September 17, 1921 in Red Star, Arkansas and had lived in Missouri for more than 40 years. He worked in maintenance for the Ford Motor company, retiring after 26 1/2 years of service, and was a member of the United Auto Workers. he was an Army veteran.

His survivors include his wife, Harriet Heflin of Independence; two sons, Henry W. Heflin of Grain Valley, and Jimmy E.. Heflin of Sugar Creek; one daughter, Alice K. Feltinberger of Independence; one sister, Helen Hawkins of Judsonia, Arkansas; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Dale Eugene Hefner, 67, of Huntsville, Arkansas, died May 5, 2001 at his home. He was born August 4, 1933 at Omaha, Nebraska, the son of Oscar Milton and Bonnie Lee Everett Hefner. He had retired from Butterball Turkey Company in Huntsville and a veteran of the Korean War, Serving in the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Mrs. Debra Ann Cuzick on November 24, 1984.

Survivors include; his wife, Mrs. Linda Ann Wren Hefner of the home; two sons, Ross Milton Hefner of Huntsville and Steven Randall Hefner of Springdale, Arkansas; two daughters, Mrs. Terry Lynn Corkern and Mrs. Dawn Renee Alley, both of Huntsville. Velmer A. Herriman, 87, of Omak, Washington, died May 7, 2001 at Harmony House, Brewster, Washington, She was born February 27, 1914 at Witter, Arkansas to David Delbert and Sarah Ellar Edens Odgen. She was raised at Witter. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, George, one child, Jerry, two grandchildren, Michael Davis and Cheryl Herriman, and three great-grandchildren.

She was married Millard D. Herriman on August 2, 1929 in Huntsville, Arkansas. They were married for 57 years when he died March 28, 1987. They lived in Madison County, Arkansas until 1943 when they moved to Pike County, Missouri. Then in 1948, she moved to Omak. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Okanogan.

She is survived by children Freda and Norman Fallesen of Bolivar, Missouri. Coy 'Zeb' and Nadie, Dewey and Donna Herriman of Omak, Troy and Carole, Frank and Trinia Herriman of Okanogan, Mary and Stanley Davis and Ellen and Art Anderson of Omak, Joanne Herriman, daughter-in-law, of Omak.

Joyce Ann Herrington, 61, of Huntsville, Arkansas died May 21, 2001 at Meadowview Healthcare and Rehab in Huntsville, She was born May 5, 1940 at Huntsville, Arkansas, the daughter of Frank Orville and Mildred Irene Gabbard Herrington. She attended the Lower Smyrna Christian Union Church and was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Billy Joe Herrington, on February 18, 1945.

The daughter of James and Laura Braden Henderson was born Feb. 3, 1909, in Hasty. She had lived in Wichita, Kan., for 11 years before moving to Springdale 38 years ago. She was a homemaker and member of Revival Tabernacle in Springdale.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arvil L. Hill; a son, Doyle B. Hill; three brothers, and a sister.

She is survived by a son, Gene Hill of Springdale; a daughter, Juanita Moxley of Andover, Kan.; a sister, Hazel Green of Harrison; seven grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Helen Shacoski Hodet, 83, of Bella Vista died May 20, 2001, at her home. She was born Jan. 8, 1918, in Coraopolis, Penn. She moved to Bella Vista in 1968 from Brazil. She was active in a settlement house in Manila, Philippines, and was cited by Magsay Say, wife of the president, for her effort there. She was active in charities in Singapore, Malaysia and Brazil. She served as treasurer of the local chapter of United Ostomy for more than two years. She was an avid bridge player.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Richard Hodet Sr., to whom she was married 57 years; two sons, Robert P. Hodet of Rapid City, S.D., and Thomas R. Hodet Jr. of Navarre, Fla.; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.

She was born February 16, 1906 at Red Star, Arkansas, the daughter of William F. and Corda Reed Killion. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Huntsville for more than sixty-five years. She was the widow of Felix Holland, whom she married on March 24, 1921 and who preceded her in death on November 10, 1979. She was also preceded in death by one son, Kenneth L. Holland in 1987 and by one daughter, Ardath Yates In 2000.

Services will be at noon Friday at Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville with the Rev. Layton Porter and Porter Bryant officiating. Burial will be in Venus Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. {mn}

Ernest 'Ernie' Wilson Hulen, 86, of Bella Vista died May 14, 2001, at his home. He was born Jan. 16, 1915, in Romulus, Okla., to Cole and Daisy Dee Jones Hulen. He attended school in Checotah, Okla., and lived in Laguna Beach, Calif., before entering the Army in 1941. He served in Alaska and Germany from 1941 to 1945. He worked at Southern California Gas Co. and retired as supervisor in 1973. He and his wife moved to Bella Vista in 1976 from Long Beach, Calif. He was a former member of the 9-Hole Men's Golf Association and the Rinkey Dinks Men's Golf Club and an avid bowler.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Mick Hulen, to whom he was married Feb. 5, 1946; two sons and daughter-in-law, Gregory Hulen of Wrightwood, Calif., and Gary Hulen and Judy of Victorville, Calif.; three grandchildren, Jeremy, Janice and Michelle.

Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church in Bella Vista with the Rev. Thomas S. Stone and the Rev. J.W. Walker officiating. Arrangements are by Bella Vista Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Circle of Life Hospice, 610 E. Emma Ave., Springdale, 72764. {mn}
