Cynthia Marie O'Grady, 47, of Pettigrew, died Wednesday, Arpil 4, 2001. She was born September 2,1953 in Richmond, Virginia to James Francis O'Grady and Patricia Michaels. She was a self-employed organic farmer and raised German Shepherds. A devout member of Combs Baptist Church, Cynthia loved working with the children in her church's community.

Survivors include her daughter Julie Weaver and her granddaughters Ninde and Shakira Weaver of Springdale, Arkansas; her finacee Charles Eaton of St. Paul; her parents Patricia Micheals of Witter, Arkansas and J ames F. and Barbara O'Grady of San Diego, California; her five sisters, Terri O'Grady of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Sharon O'Grady of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Angela Stevens of Fayetteville, Linda O'Grady and Mary Mohsin of Kew Gardens, New York; aswell as several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, Apri1 7th, at 2:00 p.m. at the Combs Baptist Church in Combs, Arkansas. If you are someone who's heart has been touched by this beautiful loving soul, the family invites you to join us in prayer to celebrate her life.

Memorials may be made to any Arvest Bank towards an Education Trust for her granddaughters in the name of Cynthia Marie O'Grady. {mcr}

Helen Louise O'Neal, 67, of Springdale died May 19, 2001, at her home. She was born Oct. 28, 1933, in Logan County, near Paris, to Horace and Jewell Sikes. She moved to the Springdale area in 1944. She was a previous owner of the Elmdale Bait Shop and the Elmdale Cafe.

Survivors include four brothers, R.H. Sikes, J.D. Sikes and L.C. Sikes, all of Springdale, and Danny Sikes of Hot Springs; four sisters, Juanita Apon and Marcia Baker, both of Springdale, Marietta Moore of Lowell and Emma Simpson of Huntsville; one stepdaughter, Deborah M. Baker.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Elm Springs Cemetery, with the Rev. Glynn Trusty officiating.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale.

Pallbearers will be Lynn Apon, Dennis Apon, Gary Apon, Howard Moore Jr., Mark Tomiella, Kip Smith and Tim Boundrey. {mn}

Mike Owens, 48, of HC 66, Box 49-C, Witter, Arkansas died June 25, 2000 at his home. He was born July 26, 1951 at Sherman, Texas, the son of David Francis and Vema Lucille Swope Owens. He was a timber worker and a christian. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Mrs. Verna Lea Cook.

Survivors include: his wife,Mrs. Peggy Lee Joseph Owens of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Billy Ray and Connie Owens of Witter, Arkansas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Glenda Lynn and Jerry Baughman of Witter, Arkansas and Katie Jo and John Tucker of Crosses, Arkansas; one brother and sister-in-law, Ernest Dale and Mary Owens of Kingston, Arkansas; one brother-in-law and his wife, Jack and Jeannie Cook of Huntsville Arkansas; five grandchildren, Amanda Jane Baughman, Sheena Baughman, Vem "Snicker Doodle" Baughman, John James Tucker and Savannah Tucker.

Graveside services were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 26th at the Witter Cemetery with Robert Johnson officiating. Pallbearers were: Ron Wilbourn, Jerry Dale Cook, David Cook, Jerry Cook, Hoy Haught, and Brett Miller . Arrangements were under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home at Huntsville. {mcr}
