Alma Blanche 'Richie' Wadsworth, 83, of Springdale died Dec. 1, 2001, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. She was born April 4, 1918, in Altamont, Kan., to George and Myrtle Laughlin Richmire. She was a graduate of Kansas State Teacher's College in Pittsburg, Kan. She was a member of Fellowship Bible Church in Springdale for more than 30 years, where she retired as church secretary. She was a charter member of Springdale Poets and Writers and was a member of the Poets Roundtable of Arkansas. She moved to Springdale in 1950. Her husband, Dr. John G. Wadsworth, preceded her in death.

Survivors include one son, Rex L. Wadsworth of Springdale; two daughters, Jan G. Blaylock of Springdale and Ann L. Raebel of Rogers; three grandchildren, John H. Wadsworth, Mark W. Blaylock and Alana R. Adkins; two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Fellowship Bible Church in Springdale with John A. Glasser officiating.

Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Sisco Chapel of Springdale.

Kathy Lynn Waldron, 19, of Kingston died October 28, 1999, in Kingston. She was born Feb. 26, 1980, at Rogers. She was a graduate of Berryville High School and was a customer-service manager for Wal-Mart in Berryville.

Survivors include her husband, James Wilson Waldron of the home; her mother, Brenda Grim of Bentonville; her maternal grandparents, Jerry and Sharon Grim of Berryville.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Bradshaw Mountain Holiness Church with Keith Rosson and the Rev. Clyde Summerall officiating. Burial will be in Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville.

Pallbearers will be Darrell Robinson, Steve Roberts, Roger Bateman, Daniel Norman Jr., Anthony Saunders and Jeff Burks. {mcr}

Ivory Bell Watson, 90, of Jasper, died Saturday, December 16, 2000 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison. She was born Jan. 11, 1910 at Boxley, a daughter of James Allen and Maude T. (Sparks) Williams. She married George Watson on Jan. 3, 1935, was a homemaker, a member of Shiloh United Baptist Church and a lifetime resident of Newton County. She was preceded in death by her parents; two children, Clell and Retha Marie Watson; two brothers, Claud and Clyde Williams and a sister, Edna Keys.

Survivors are her husband, George Watson of Jasper; two sons, Roy L. Watson of Springdale and Troy Watson of Jasper; a daughter, Bonnie Villines of Jasper; two brothers, Walter Williams of Jasper and Clinton Williams of Independence, Mo.; a sister, Jeanette Brison of Independence, Mo., four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; long time care giver Marie Proctor and many other relatives and friends.

Services will be Wednesday, Dec. 20 at 2 p.m. at Coffman Chapel in Jasper with Bro. Troy Walker and Bro. Donnie Villines officiating. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home of Jasper.

Pallbearers will be Jackie Villines; Marvin Villines; Kirk Watson; Jack Bradley; Roy Self and Donnie Murray.

Honorary pallbearers will be David Brison; Devoe Williams, John Reynolds and Virgil Edgmon. {nct}

Jessie D. Collins Watson, 91, of Springdale, Arkansas died April 14, 2001 at Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born April 11, 1910 at Swain, Arkansas, the daughter of Elisha and Aletha Storm Gibson. She was a homemaker and attended the Pentecostal Full Gospel Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 40 years, Jake Collins in 1969 and her second husband, Otis Watson in 1997; one daughter, Irma Williams; four brothers; three sisters; and one great-granddaughter, Amber Gosvener.

She is survived by two sons, Burlin Collins of Concord, California, and Coy Collins of Pettigrew, Arkansas; four daughters, Faye Sandlin of Quincy, California, Alda Nadine Hill of Blue Springs, Missouri, Olga Allene Johnson of Springdale, and Donna Carol Birchfield of Bentonville, fourteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; one brother Raymond Gibson; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2001 at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home Chapel in Springdale with the Rev. Mike Montgomery and the Rev. David Gosvener officiating. Burial was at 2:30 p.m. in the Mossville Cemetery at Mossville, Arkansas.

Pallbearers were Don Simmons, Mike Tipton, Clyde Gosvener, Floyd Collins, Zeke Williams, Robin Ivy, and Troy Plumlee. {mcr, nct}

John R. Watts, 87, of Springdale passed away July 12, 2001, after a lengthy illness.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Wanda Alice Watts of Springdale; one sister, Hortense Snodgrass of St. Louis, Mo.; one daughter, Vicky Robertson of North Little Rock and husband, Jim; three sons, John Watts of Dallas, Texas, and wife, Elaine, Lt. Col. Jim Watts of Warner Robins, Ga., and wife, Patt, and Richard Watts of Little Rock and wife, Alice; two grandsons, John Peter Watts and James Watts; six granddaughters, Jill Robertson Dillman, Amy Watts Waters, Julie Robertson, Jenny Robertson, Patty Watts and Peyton Watts.

He served in the Pacific with the Army Air Corps during World War II and retired as a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force. Following his career in the military, he was the assistant director of personnel at the University of Arkansas until his retirement in 1976. He was a member of Sequoyah Methodist Church in Fayetteville, was active in Rotary and served as a volunteer at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Fayetteville until his illness.

The family would like to extend their heart-felt appreciation to Holland Nursing Home and to the doctors, staff and volunteers at the Fayetteville Veterans Affairs Medical Center for the kindness, care and attention shown to him.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 14, 2001, at Sequoyah Methodist Church with the Rev. Sara Bainbridge officiating.

A private burial service will be at National Cemetery in Fayetteville.

Arrangements are by Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville.

Dorothy Lorene Webb, 89, of Dutch Mills died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2002, at her home.

Born March 19, 1912, in Osage, she was the daughter of Soloman Alvin Allred and Lydia Belle Sisco.

She was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Dutch Mills.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Harley Webb.

Survivors include a son, Dwayne Webb of Westville, Okla.; three daughters, Billie Sue Ledbetter of Springdale, Sharon Kay Enke of St. Louis and Brenda Cunningham of Farmington; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Liberty Baptist Church in Dutch Mills with the Revs. Bruce Knight and Paul Woodhouse officiating. Burial will be in Dutch Mills Cemetery in Lincoln. Visitation will be from 6:30-8 p.m. today at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove. Memorials may be made to the Liberty Baptist Church, 22361 Dutch Mills, WC 418, Lincoln 72744. {mcr}

Clayton B. Woodard and Bradley C. Woodard, infant twin sons of Vernon Koy and Donna Mae Elmore Woodard, were born and died on June 3, 1995, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale.

Survivors include the parents of the home; one brother, Chadwick (Chad) Woodard of the home; maternal grandparents, the Rev. Don and Lona Elmore of Springdale; maternal great-grandmothers, Geneva Elmore of Huntington and Claudia Pottor of Tyler, Texas; paternal grandparents, K.G. and Sandra Woodard of Springdale; paternal great-grandmother, Pansey Woodard of Rogers.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Friendship Cemetery with the Rev. Don Elmore officiating. Arrangements are by Sisco Chapel of Springdale.

William A. Woods, 76, of Rogers died May 28, 2001, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers. He was born March 31, 1925, in Bentonville to Frederick and Edith Adella Hill Woods. He graduated from Rogers High School and the University of Arkansas. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was employed by the Arkansas Employment Security Division.

Survivors include his wife, Bess Woods of Rogers; six children, Lynn Reddick, Greg Wardman, Stephen Wardman, William Woods, Edward Woods and Michelle Woods; one sister, Doris M. Brust of Rogers; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be private. Arrangements are by Burns Funeral Home of Rogers. {mn}
