In the name of God, Amen.

I, Edith Jane Benton, being of sound mind and disposing memory and being desirous of settling my worldly affairs before my death, do make this my last will and testimony hereby revoking all other wills made by me.

Item first- I will that at my death that all my debts of every kind and description shall be paid, if at that time my estate is oweing anything.

Item second- I will that my body shall be buried out of the proceeds of my estate by a Christian burial.

Item third- I will and bequeath to my beloved husband, J. T. Benton, all my undivided interest in the N 1/2 of the SE 1/4 and the S 1/2 of the NE 1/4 of Sec 12, township 12, Range 20 West, situated in the county of Newton and the state of Arkansas to have and to hold the same unto himself and his heirs assigns forever with all the appurtinances thereunto belonging. This will is subscribed and sworn to by me in the presence of Lewis W. Davis and C.H. Wilson as witnesses and requested by me to witness this my last will and testimony and that I signs same in their presence and declare to them that this is my last will and testament to J. T. Benton.
