In 1901 she was a housemaid for the Samuelson family at Braywick Grove. She married Alfred Tidy at Bray Parish Church on 14-Oct-1903
Her first child was born the following year.When her employer Henry Bernhard Samuelson succeeded to his father's title in 1905 and later moved to Hatchford Park,Surrey she and her husband moved there with them. By 1906 they were living at nearby Cobham Park
