Edward
B. Walker is the progenitor of nearly all Walkers
who have lived in Claiborne, Hancock, and Union Counties
in upper East Tennessee since the founding of those
counties. If your Walker family ever lived in any of
those counties, chances are that you are related to
this Walker family.
If you came to this site from my family file looking
for information on someone from the area of Cocke, Sevier,
or Jefferson County, Tennessee, you probably are more
interested in my maternal lines. This site currently
has Walker information only, but I have written some
articles on my maternal line in my Cocke
County Connections blog.
This site has biographies and sketches of a few of
the family members as well as source documents such
as family Bibles, pensions, and other reference materials.
