Elver's Peak

Please stay turned as there will be periodic updates.

Some years ago my father and I were discussing the unusual name his parents bestowed upon him. Elver. We didn't know where it had come from, so we looked it up in the dictionary. We discovered that elvers were baby eels. Somehow, I don't think that was on the minds of my grandparents. The other reference that we found was to a mountain called Elver's Peak. My father said his children were the high point of his life.
So that makes me one of Elver's Peaks.

As you can see, genealogy is a particular interest of mine. The Capps, Carter, Crews, Davis, Dixon/Dickson, Padgett, Smith and Walker lines are centered in southeast Georgia. The Harrison and McCurdy lines are from Pennsylvania and Michigan. I do have more information than I have posted here. If you have a question, just email and ask.

If you would like to have YOUR Family Reunion posted here, please visit the reunion page, then submit a request by email.

Won't you take a minute to sign my guest book. It's set up like a query page so please "view" the guestbook and if you can be of help to anyone, email them. And I would love to hear any success stories. Thanks.
